What R-value do I need for my attic?
R-40 is the current code minimum for attics, but many Fraser Valley homeowners upgrade to R-50 or R-60 for noticeably better comfort and energy savings. R-value measures resistance to heat flow — the higher the number, the better the insulation performs. We'll recommend the right level for your home during your free estimate.
Do I qualify for government grants or rebates?
Likely yes. Federal and Provincial grants are available for attic and crawlspace upgrades, including for renovations, and BC Hydro and Fortis BC offer multiple insulation rebates. Programs change over time, so we help guide you to the right one for your situation.
